IPODI-Project: Roma Lusitana e Roma Spagnola: Academies and national identities in the first half of Eighteenth-Century Rome more
I hold a Ph.D. (2007) in Art History from the University of Santiago de Compostela. My thesis, entitled “Ariadna, esposa y amante de Dioniso. Estudio Iconográfico de la cerámica ática”, was published as Y Dioniso desposó a la rubia Ariadna. Estudio iconográfico de la cerámica ática, (British Archaeological Reports, Oxford, 2007).
I received a dual M.A. from the same university as well as a European masters in the History of Architecture from the University of Roma TRE, (2005-06). I have further developed my research in different international centres, including the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca (Rome), the Warburg Institute (London), the Royal Spanish Academy (Rome), the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut (Rome), the Beazly’s Archive (Oxford), and the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa). In the past few years, I also worked as a member the Institute of Art History at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) where I began my current research project.
